District Membership Committee

The District Membership Committee has three primary responsibilities; assisting the clubs with their efforts to attract and develop new members, assist the clubs with their member retention efforts and to assist the Governor with chartering new Rotary Clubs in the District.

The District Membership Committee has three subcommittees responsible for fulfilling the overall objectives of the committee. They are:

District Membership Development Sub-Committee Chair Contacts

Membership Development Subcommittee Chair: Pam Bozkurt (Ocoee)
Email: Membership-Development [at] RotaryDistrict6980.org This committee assists the clubs with creative concepts and ideas on how the clubs can attract, recruit and develop new members. The committee will accomplish this by conducting a District Membership Seminar, New Member Orientations as well as offer to assist clubs with their club membership assemblies.

Club Extension Chair: Past District Governor Carlos Giraldo (Casselberry)
Email: Club-Extension [at] RotaryDistrict6980.org This committee assists the District Governor in assessing potential geographic areas within the district to charter new clubs; and helping them through the process of provisional club status towards their new club charter.

Membership Retention Subcommittee Chair: Mike Genco (Altamonte Springs)
Email: Membership-Retention [at] RotaryDistrict6980.org This committee will assist the clubs with their membership retention efforts. The Membership Committee will sponsor regional New Member Orientations during the year.
